How to delete agents from the Optifi dashboard?

To delete agents from the Optifi dashboard, navigate to the agent list view. From this view, you can select the agents you wish to delete and remove them from the system.

Log in to the Optifi Dashboard and navigate to the Agent List View by clicking on the top right corner or by visiting https://app.optifi.com/agent-list.

To delete agents, you can click the trash can icon next to each agent's row. Alternatively, you can select multiple agents by checking their corresponding checkboxes and then click the trash can icon at the top. To delete all agents, check the top checkbox to select all, and then click the trash can icon to delete.

If you have a large list of agents, you can filter the agent list by searching for matching text in various agent column values, such as machine name.

You can also filter agents using the special format "lastseen" to indicate how long they have been connected to the dashboard:

For minutes, use "m" or "min":

Example: "lastseen:5min" or "lastseen:5m" (this will show agents that have been connected for 5 minutes or longer).

For hours, use "h" or "hrs":

Example: "lastseen:5h" or "lastseen:5hrs" (this will show agents that have been connected for 5 hours or longer).

For days, use "d" or "days":

Example: "lastseen:5d" or "lastseen:5days" (this will show agents that have been connected for 5 days or longer).

Deleted agents that are still active will reappear on the dashboard after they are restarted, if the user logs out and back in again or if the machine is rebooted.


The user agent will now show a status of 'disconnected,' and attempting to pair the agent again will result in an error stating 'No such agent user or with unique ID.' To pair the same agent again, the agent must be restarted to generate a new unique ID.

To restart an agent, right-click on the configure/gear icon, select 'Quit,' and then restart the agent. Alternatively, you can simply reboot the machine or log out of the account and back in.
