What is Transmit Beamforming and do I need it?
Transmit beamforming (defined here) is essentially when an AP uses multiple antennas operating at different phases while targeting one device in an attempt to increase signal strength and higher throughput speeds with that device.
TxBF is not very beneficial and uses a significant amount of airtime. It’s recommended that TxBF be disabled on your AP if supported at all.
