An identification assigned by a wireless STA (AP) to another STA (client) in order to transmit the correct data in an IBSS

Association ID (AID) is an identification assigned by a wireless STA (AP) to another STA (client) in order to transmit the correct data to that device in an Infrastructure Basic Service Set (IBSS).
