      High Rate Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (HR/DSSS)

      802.11b PHY that increases data rate in 2.4 GHz to 5.5 and 11 Mbps while maintaining backward compatibility

      An amendment‐based PHY (802.11b) that increase the data rate in 2.4 GHz from the original 1 or 2 Mbps to 5.5 and 11 Mbps while maintaining backward compatibility with 1 and 2 Mbps.
