      Power over Ethernet (PoE)

      A method of providing power to certain hardware devices that can be powered across the Ethernet cables.

      A method of providing power to certain hardware devices that can be powered across the Ethernet cables. Specified in 802.3 as a standard. Various classes are defined based on power requirements.
